Elite Lawyer has named Amara Anyanwu as the Spring 2023 recipient of our biannual Elite Lawyer Scholarship contest. Amara is a college sophomore at Rice University. Our team is honored to help Amara continue pursuing her educational goals.

Fall 2022 Winner
Shreya is going into her second year of college at Columbia University’s Barnard College. After graduating, she plans to attend law school and use this education to pursue a career in public interest law as an advocate for social change.
Abigail Reeves

Spring 2022 Winner
Abigail is a Creative Writing major at Arizona State University. Ms. Reeves aspires to bring accessible reading materials to children and families who do not have such privileges. After earning her bachelor’s degree, Abigail plans to start her writing career or pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree.
Claire Rosenberger

Fall 2021 Winner
Claire is studying Physiology and Medical Sciences and Spanish Linguistics at the University of Arizona. She plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a healthcare professional, and she is passionate about providing bilingual care and improving healthcare access for underserved communities.
Madeline Gendreau

Spring 2021 Winner
Madeline is studying Geosciences and Environmental Studies at Boise State University. She is passionate about helping her community, including through a program that teaches water safety to children throughout Idaho. She plans to pursue a career in climate research, environmental law, and government.
Evan Bannow

2020 Winner
Evan is studying Marketing and Non-Profit Management at the University of Minnesota. He is dedicated to developing his marketing knowledge and skills through internships and other opportunities, and he has goals of establishing a nonprofit organization to address homelessness among impacted communities.

Fiza is studying Journalism and Government at the University of Texas at Austin, where she writes for the student newspaper. She wants to make a difference through journalism and is interested in exploring issues related to politics and public policy.
