About Mark T. Hurt

Mark Hurt, a native of Bristol, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1981 and later obtained his law degree from Duke University, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. Prior to returning to the Tri-Cities, Mark gained valuable experience with prominent litigation law firms in Dallas, Texas, and Washington, D.C.

With an extensive background in litigation, Mark has tried cases before juries and argued appeals in Virginia, Tennessee, and federal courts. He has appeared twice before the nine justices of the United States Supreme Court and has successfully negotiated settlements in numerous cases, ranging from multimillion-dollar agreements to smaller fender-bender disputes.
