About Zeffery A. Mims, Esquire

Zeffery Mims, the son of a military officer, grew up relocating every four years, with Key West, Florida being his favorite destination. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and later graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law.

Dedicated to providing access to justice, Zeffery Mims has represented numerous clients for whom this was a critical issue. In 2017, he played a key role in securing non-monetary bonds and pre-trial releases for several indigent individuals facing non-violent criminal charges. April 2019 marked the founding of Zeffery Mims Law, PLLC, with the mission of "serving the public one client at a time." His notable achievements include successfully defending the estate of a client’s son against a wrongful death claim, prosecuting a case involving embezzlement by a client's sister acting under power of attorney, and securing over $250,000 for his clients.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Zeffery is deeply committed to community service. He actively volunteers with the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association’s Youth Outreach Section and offers pro bono legal services through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. As a first-generation attorney, Zeffery Mims attributes his success to his faith and family. He is driven by a commitment to represent individuals over powerful entities and is always ready to assist those in need of legal guidance.
