About Joshua Thermon Teague

I was raised in Gilmer County, and my family established roots in North Georgia in the early 1800s, making this area our enduring home. This longstanding connection with the people of North Georgia has provided me with an intimate understanding of the local community, its values, and the dynamics involving the judiciary, courts, politicians, judges, and prosecutors.

My educational journey took me to Kennesaw State University, where I graduated Cum Laude with a four-year degree. Subsequently, I pursued my legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top 20% of my class. During my high school and college senior years, I worked for a small law firm, gaining valuable practical experience. Throughout law school, I had the privilege of clerking for two Superior Court Judges and participating in an internship program with a Federal Prosecutor’s Office. These diverse experiences provided me with unique perspectives on each case, setting me apart from many other lawyers.

It was during one of these programs that I met my wife, LeeAnn, while she was working for her grandmother, the Clerk of Superior Court, and I was engaged in a work-study program. My legal practice is centered on advocating for individuals who have suffered injuries or are facing criminal accusations. I represent those harmed in car accidents, motorcycle incidents, tractor-trailer collisions, or those pursuing wrongful death claims due to the loss of a family member. On the criminal side, I handle cases involving Arson, Assault, Aggravated Assault, Drug Trafficking, Drug Possession, DUI, DUI Drugs, Murder, Sex Crimes, Theft, and White Collar Crimes. In my representation of clients, I bring everything I have to the table. I approach their cases with empathy and passion, feeling their anxiety and pain. My motivation lies in making a positive difference, not merely in financial gain. I aspire to dedicate my life to serving those who feel hopeless.
