Her expertise extends to Criminal Defense and General Civil Litigation. A proud resident of Park City, Emily's roots trace back to the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. She attained her B.A. in Legal Studies with cum laude honors from the University of Massachusetts in 1991 and furthered her education at the University of Maine School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor with Honors in 1994.

Post-graduation, Emily embarked on her legal career at the Law Office of William Maselli in Auburn, Maine, focusing on Criminal Defense in both State and Federal Courts. Transitioning to the Law Practice of Laskoff & Associates in 1996 marked her foray into various legal domains such as Family Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and Probate Litigation, alongside Criminal Defense.

Admitted to practice law in Utah in May 2004, Emily's journey continued as an Associate and later a Partner at the SLC office of Cohne, Rappaport and Segal before founding her own practice in family law and dissolution. Her tenure at Durham, Jones, and Pinegar commenced in April 2007, where her prowess in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Probate, and Criminal Defense shone. Emily’s colleagues and clients applaud her versatility in both the Criminal and Civil aspects of law, underlining her strong negotiation skills and financial acumen.
