Karen Z. Liu leads the Corporate & Fund Formation practice at Reid & Wise. She advises U.S. and international private funds and their sponsors on formation, operations, and regulatory matters. Her practice also includes guiding companies and founders through corporate formation, structuring, governance, equity and debt financing, joint ventures, M&A transactions, and cross-border investments. In addition, investor clients routinely seek Karen for advice for various domestic and cross-border investment and transactional legal matters.
Karen is active in the legal sustainability space, serving as Chair of Sustainable Reporting Standards Subcommittee of the ABA’s Corporate Sustainability Law Committee and Co-Chair of its Corporate Governance Subcommittee. Karen is also a prolific author of various articles on securities law, sustainability law, EB-5 investments, and corporate law.
