Jason Reese co-founded Wagner Reese, LLP in 2000, driven by a lifelong commitment to justice for those who have been silenced or overlooked. For over 27 years, he has dedicated his career to representing individuals and families in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and birth trauma—working tirelessly to hold negligent parties accountable and secure meaningful results for his clients.

A native of Northwest Indiana, Mr. Reese attended the University of Arizona on an academic scholarship and graduated magna cum laude. He earned his law degree with honors from Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington, laying the groundwork for a legal career marked by courtroom success and peer recognition. Mr. Reese has tried numerous injury cases to verdict before judges and juries throughout Indiana.

His accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. Mr. Reese has been honored repeatedly as an Indiana Super Lawyer every year since 2004 and has been listed among the Top 50 Indiana Lawyers by Super Lawyer magazine from 2016 through 2024. He was named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Indiana by The National Trial Lawyers and received the Excellence in Civility Award from the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2024. Additional accolades include his selection to Best Lawyers in America and recognition by The Indiana Lawyer as a Distinguished Barrister—widely considered the state’s highest professional honor for attorneys.

Licensed in both Indiana and Illinois, Mr. Reese continues to serve clients nationwide. He and his wife, Jill—his law school classmate and lifelong partner—make their home in Carmel, Indiana, where they have raised three adult children.
