About Paulina Kathopoulis

Paulina focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, including complex mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and secured transactions, corporate governance and compliance issues, and commercial contracts, among other areas.

Throughout her career, Paulina has shared an entrepreneurial spirit with many of her clients, having founded a beverage company while completing her undergraduate studies. Her experience as an owner, director, and advisor has given her valuable insight into forming and growing businesses.

Before joining Penwell Law, Paulina practiced casualty litigation, defending insured and self-insured entities in a variety of cases involving automobile accidents, construction incidents, and premises liability claims. Her background in litigation has strengthened her ability to identify and manage risk while helping clients make informed decisions with a clear understanding of potential exposures.

Paulina earned her Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science from Drexel University’s Bennett S. LeBow College of Business and the Pennoni Honors College, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she also served as a Teaching Assistant in the corporate law program at the Smeal College of Business.

A committed member of the Greek American community, Paulina dedicates her time to mentoring students and young professionals. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their extended family, particularly their twin nieces.
