Mark Shapiro’s legal journey began at the University of Florida, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees with honors in an impressive six-year span. During law school, he gained hands-on experience clerking for a personal injury firm, setting the foundation for a career centered on advocating for those affected by negligence. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in April 1993, Mark focused on civil trial practice, personal injury, and wrongful death, areas where his passion for justice truly flourished.

Mark’s extensive career began at Mulholland & Associates in Tampa, where he practiced as a civil trial attorney, managing an astounding caseload of over 500 active cases and more than 3,000 litigations during his tenure. In 1996, he launched his first personal injury practice in Orlando, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial pursuits in the legal field. By 2001, he co-founded Shapiro & Freire, P.A., and in 2011, established Shapiro Injury Group, P.A., where he continues to lead as Managing Attorney. With 27 years of experience, Mark has become a trusted advocate in personal injury law, handling a wide range of cases, including auto accidents, wrongful death, property insurance claims, and more.
