Mike Sanft, the lead trial attorney at SOS Injury Lawyers, has a story rooted in perseverance and connection. Growing up on the island of Tonga, Mike’s childhood was marked by simplicity, living without electricity and sharing a single water source with neighboring homes. At the age of 12, his family moved to San Diego, seeking new opportunities. As they departed Tonga, Mike made two personal promises: to honor the culture and community that shaped him and to make the most of the opportunities America could offer.

After completing his LDS mission, Mike attended BYU-Hawaii, where he embraced his heritage by performing as a dancer at the Polynesian Cultural Center. This experience not only allowed him to celebrate his roots but also helped him build meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds. True to his second promise, Mike pursued a career in law, driven by his strong work ethic and a desire to advocate for those in need.

Over the course of his career, Mike has earned a reputation as a formidable trial attorney, securing favorable outcomes for hundreds of clients. He has tried over 150 cases to jury verdict and argued before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. His extensive trial experience and dedication to his clients distinguish him within Nevada’s legal community.
