About Alina Gonzalez-Dockery

Raised in Lakeland, Florida, as the youngest of three children, Alina draws inspiration from the values instilled by her parents, Cuban refugees, who emphasized family, community, education, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities provided in the U.S.

For over 23 years, she has been representing individuals and families with a personalized approach that prioritizes proactive planning and tailored solutions. Her firm, Life Law Planning, was established to serve the needs of growing families who seek peace of mind in knowing that their future and their loved ones are protected. The focus is on delivering clarity, convenience, and security for clients as they plan for life’s important moments.

Her legal career began at Harris & Gonzalez in Lakeland, Florida, where she became a partner and practiced family law. She later held leadership roles as Executive Director at both the Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society and the Lee County Legal Aid Society. With a deep connection to her community and a passion for providing personalized legal services, she founded Life Law Planning to strengthen bonds with clients and help them secure their future. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, with involvement in its Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law and Family Law Sections. She is also a proud University of Florida alumna and an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
