About Kirk Seaman

Kirk Seaman, born in 1959, grew up in Baltimore City. He attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science with Honors from the Community College of Baltimore. He later completed a degree in Jurisprudence with Honors from the University of Baltimore before graduating from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1985.

In addition to his legal career, Kirk has a background in the arts, having studied classical guitar at the Peabody Preparatory of Music and developing a passion for photography. His freelance photography work included construction projects, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and corporate assignments for notable clients such as McDonalds, Marriott, and Anheuser-Busch. He also worked as the personal photographer for Roy Rogers and captured performances by artists like Lou Rawls and Hall & Oates.

Kirk has been married to his wife, Rose, for nearly 40 years, and they share two children, three grandchildren, and two grand-dogs. The family resides in Sparrows Point, Maryland.

In 1989, Kirk established his own law firm, handling cases in personal injury, workers' compensation, criminal defense, and family law across Maryland. In 1995, he was appointed as a Special Settlement Officer by the Circuit Court of Maryland for Carroll County, mediating cases involving accidents, workers' compensation, and family law. He expanded his practice in 1999 to include mediation and arbitration, appearing before numerous Maryland courts and administrative bodies. In 2022, Kirk transitioned to Goodman, Meagher & Enoch, LLP, where he now leads the Workers' Compensation Department and has broadened the firm's practice to include DUI and DWI representation.
