About Kaila Nix Means

Kaila Nix Means pursued her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University, where she was an active member of the Women’s Equestrian Team and completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology. During her time at OSU, she also contributed to the Student Athletic Academic Committee. Following her undergraduate education, Kaila dedicated herself to the field of psychology, specializing in therapy for children with autism and those with special needs. This work led her to law school at The University of Tulsa, where she engaged in the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and the Board of Advocates, focusing on trial competitions. Kaila graduated with honors in community service from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

In 2017, Kaila commenced her legal career at The Nix Law Firm upon completing her law degree. Growing up as the daughter of David Nix, the founder of The Nix Law Firm, Kaila has been instilled with a deep commitment to justice and advocacy from a young age. As a trial attorney, she leverages these ingrained skills to passionately defend her clients throughout the litigation process.
