About Ivon Anaya, Esq.
At de Moya & Associates, Ivon Anaya, Esq., specializes in Bankruptcy, Family, Immigration, and Criminal Law. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universidad de San Buenaventura in Cartagena, Colombia, and was admitted to the Colombian bar in 2002. In 2005, she obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Universidad del Turabo, Puerto Rico, and, in 2013, a Master's Degree in Law (LL.M) from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York. Ivon is licensed to practice law in the New York State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts in both the Southern and Eastern Districts.
Having previously worked as an attorney in Colombia, Ivon conducted audits of government offices to ensure compliance with legal policies and procedures aimed at preventing illegal or unethical conduct within government divisions. During her time at Pace, she volunteered in the predatory lending and mortgage foreclosure defense program and interned at the HUD-Certified Agency (HDSW) Human Development Services of Westchester, gaining extensive experience in Real Estate and Foreclosure Defense. As an associate at the law firm of de Moya & Associates, P.C., Ivon is dedicated to zealously assisting her clients in navigating the complexities of law. She takes pride in her sensitivity to the needs of her clients and approaches each legal issue with diligence, efficiency, and a realistic perspective.
