About David Nunez

Born and raised in El Paso, David Nuñez completed his high school education at Montwood High School in 2003. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as an infantryman for four years with deployments to Iraq in 2006 and 2007-08. Honorable discharge in 2009 marked the end of his military service, prompting him to pursue higher education at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2012, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Continuing his academic journey, David gained acceptance to St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Post-graduation, he made the decision to return to his roots in El Paso. Taking on the role of Assistant District Attorney with the El Paso District Attorney's Office, he honed his legal advocacy skills through active participation in numerous trials and hearings. In November 2021, David seized an opportunity to join the Valenzuela Law Firm as an associate attorney. Leveraging his extensive legal background, he contributes to the firm's commitment to delivering outstanding legal representation to the El Paso community. Beyond his regular responsibilities, David specializes in handling intricate white-collar state and federal cases.
