About John Piccin

Born on January 27, 1940, in Willmantic, Connecticut, John H. Piccin embarked on an impressive educational journey. He pursued studies at the University of Vienna in Austria and earned honors upon graduation from Villanova University in 1962. His legal acumen further blossomed as he obtained a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School in 1965. John gained admission to the State Bar of Michigan in 1966, the Florida Bar in 1975, and the US District Court, Middle District of Florida.

A distinguished legal professional, John is affiliated with esteemed organizations such as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Marion County Bar Association, and the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, State of Florida. Notably, he holds certification as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive group recognizing trial lawyers who have showcased exceptional skill, experience, and excellence in securing verdicts or settlements exceeding $1 million.

In 1966, John tied the knot with Mary Burke, and their union has been blessed with two children, Katherine Piccin Glynn and Timothy B. Piccin. Timothy, a former Captain in the United States Air Force and F-16 fighter pilot, has transitioned to a professional role flying the Boeing 777. Mary, on the other hand, has pursued a career as a thoroughbred horse trainer.
