About F. Todd Frederick

Forrest Todd Frederick is an attorney with the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office. His practice focuses primarily on representing insureds in first and third-party insurance coverage disputes representing commercial and residential clients through the completion of their cases.

Mr. Frederick was born in the small town of Clinton, Missouri. After high school, he joined the US Navy where he served on several warships and was deployed to the Arabian Gulf during his enlistment. He was Honorably Discharged as a decorated veteran after 5 years of service at the rank of E6. Shortly after serving in the Navy, Attorney Frederick completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbia College.

After leaving the Navy Mr. Frederick went on to attain his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. While at law school, Todd worked in the school’s Law Clinic, representing the indigent, pro-bono, under the supervision of a Florida Licensed Attorney. That experience would pave the way for his early law career, as he spent the first few years working in various positions, including managing his own firm.

When Hurricane Irma devastated much of Florida in 2017, Mr. Frederick began exclusively practicing first and third-party property insurance law, representing the interests of commercial and residential policyholders throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Frederick represents matters in both state and federal court, including cases involving breach of contract and bad faith insurance practices.
