About Jakrun Sodhi

Jak's journey in the legal field commenced at the University of California at Davis, where his passion for law first ignited. His pursuit led him to acquire a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. Residing in the Modesto area for over 17 years, Jak embarked on his legal career at the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office. He gathered substantial trial experience before transitioning to private practice, specializing in civil litigation with a focus on business, personal injury, and criminal defense.

With a history of being a partner in two Modesto-based law firms and successfully handling over 55 civil and criminal trials, Jak took the initiative to establish the Sodhi Law Group. This move allowed him to concentrate his practice on areas of law where he could fiercely advocate for his clients, prioritizing personalized service and attention, elements he deems essential for a thriving law practice that places client needs above all.

Jak and his wife Ticia are actively involved in various charitable organizations, notably the Center for Human Services, Community Hospice of Stanislaus County, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. With a dedicated team, Jak eagerly anticipates providing the robust and assertive advocacy that clients deserve. His goal is to navigate them through the legal process, ensuring a successful outcome.
