About Jamile Moraes Pellicer

I am a practicing immigration attorney located in South Florida. My legal practice is dedicated to advocating for individuals who may lack access to the information needed for effective self-representation. I provide legal representation, counsel, and strategic guidance for a range of immigration services. Additionally, I handle divorce cases in the context of family matters.

My journey began in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil, where I was born and raised. As a teenager, I emigrated to the United States with my parents and younger sister. Since then, I have been immersed in the vibrant and diverse Latin culture that characterizes South Florida. My personal experience as an immigrant in America has afforded me a profound and unique understanding of the legal challenges faced by the Hispanic and Latino communities in South Florida. I have devoted my career to assisting individuals and families like my own.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a Minor in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. Subsequently, I attended Nova Southeastern University School of Law, Shepard Law Center, where I obtained my Juris Doctor. During my tenure at Nova, I had the privilege of being a General Member and a Submitting Editor of the Nova Law Review Honor Society, which sharpened my skills in writing and revising legal scholarly articles. I successfully completed the Shepard School of Law's Honor Program, accumulating over 200 hours of pro bono work.

I play an integral role in my Broward County community, residing there with my family. My family includes my husband, Joseph, who is of Cuban descent, as well as our toddler, Isabella, and my stepchildren, Sarah and Chris. We also share our home with two adorable small dogs, Gracie and Lola.
