About Chris Yorgason

In November 2011, Chris established Yorgason Law Offices, PLLC, where he primarily focuses on transactional and general representation, with a particular emphasis on municipal government, education, charter schools, and some involvement in real estate and general business matters.

Chris has deep roots in the Treasure Valley, with his family having resided in the area for over a century. Born at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, while his father served in the Air Force, Chris returned to Idaho before celebrating his first birthday. He is a proud alumnus of Centennial High School, where he graduated with the inaugural class in 1988. Following high school, he pursued his education at Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor's degree in 1995 with a dual major in political science and finance, with an international focus. Additionally, Chris attained minors in Thai and Business Comp during his undergraduate years.

Continuing his educational journey, Chris remained at Brigham Young University to complete his legal studies, graduating from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1998. During law school, he actively participated as a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates and was part of the team that competed in the Willem Vis International Moot Arbitration competition in Vienna, Austria. In addition, he gained valuable experience as an extern for the Honorable Larry M. Boyle in the US Federal District Court of Idaho. After graduating from law school, he served as a clerk for the Honorable D. Duff McKee in the Ada County Fourth Judicial District Court.

Chris is an esteemed member of the Idaho Bar Association, actively participating in its Government, Real Estate, and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections. He is also affiliated with the Utah Bar Association.
