Since 2006, Kevin M. Maki, our esteemed founder, has dedicated himself to advocating for the legal rights of accident victims. Hailing from Ventura County, Mr. Maki pursued his degree in Law and Society at the University of California – Santa Barbara. He commenced his career at a prominent California insurance company, gaining invaluable expertise in handling injury claims.

Simultaneously working full-time, Mr. Maki pursued his legal education. Following graduation, he delved into the legal department of the insurance company, focusing on managing personal injury claims. His exceptional work caught the attention of a top-tier panel law firm, which recruited him to establish a new office in the Conejo Valley. His tenure at both the insurance company and the law firm enabled Mr. Maki to navigate thousands of lawsuits, exposing him to a wide array of claims such as car accidents, bad faith insurance, dog bites, wrongful deaths, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall incidents, and more.

Despite his considerable success while representing insurance companies for over two decades, Mr. Maki grew disenchanted with advocating against the interests of accident victims. This dissatisfaction fueled his desire to assist these individuals rather than compel them to settle for minimal compensation. This motivation led to the establishment of the Maki Law Firm. Mr. Maki's extensive experience working within insurance companies for more than 20 years has provided him with a unique advantage. His profound understanding of their inner workings empowers him to tirelessly battle these entities and secure comprehensive and just compensation for accident victims.
