For over four decades, Virginia M. Blumenthal has been a stalwart in the field of criminal defense law in Riverside. Her unwavering commitment has earned her recognition as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the nation by The National Trial Lawyers. Moreover, she has consistently received peer acknowledgment, being selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America since 1990.

Back in 1975, Ms. Blumenthal, previously a teacher in Riverside, established the first woman-owned law firm in Inland Southern California. Presently, she stands as one of the most prominent litigators in California. At her firm, Blumenthal & Moore, her team focuses solely on defending those accused. In November 2018, she secured her fourth term on the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees, a position where she previously held the role of President. Her contributions extend to presiding over the Riverside County Philharmonic, co-founding the Riverside County High School Mock Trial program, and serving as a founding director for the Riverside Police Foundation.
