About Nichelle L. Womble

Nichelle L. Womble, Esq., graduated with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, earning her Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Previously, she dedicated her efforts to advancing social justice and equality as part of the Counsel on American Islamic Relations office in Philadelphia, under the guidance of Staff Attorney Timothy Welbeck. Ms. Womble also contributed to the Illinois Prison Project, focusing on Commutations and Clemency Petitions for unjustly incarcerated individuals from August 2020 to August 2021. Her diverse legal practice encompasses Sports/Business, Civil Rights, Title IX/Student Defense, Criminal, Civil, & Juvenile, Employment, and Administrative Law.

Recognizing her academic excellence, Ms. Womble was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in 2020, ranking among the top students in her 3L class of 181. She is an esteemed member of the Phi Alpha Delta Society of Scholars and has held leadership roles, such as Director of Communications for National BLSA and Director of Administration for the National Bar Association Law Student Division. Additionally, she pursued her interest in complex litigation as a member candidate for the Journal of Complex Litigation at St. Thomas Law in Miami and served as Senior Editor for the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice, Vol. XV, a journal of the Southern division of BLSA. Beyond her legal achievements, Ms. Womble brings extensive experience in the sports industry. She has served as General Manager and General Counsel for semi-pro teams in Florida and holds a license as a FIBA agent.
