About Kimberlyn Brooke Pinkerton

Kimberlyn, a native of San Diego, California, graduated with highest honors, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing from California State University, San Marcos. Subsequently, she pursued her legal education at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Honor Scholarship. During her time in law school, Kimberlyn actively engaged in various student organizations, holding the position of Secretary on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association in her third year. She found particular satisfaction in her role as a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, where she advocated for her fellow law students. Additionally, Kimberlyn dedicated her time to volunteering at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic and the Clean Slate Clinic. She was also among the inaugural USD Law Student Ambassadors and served as a mentor for 1L students during her second and third years.

Kimberlyn commenced her professional journey with Rockwood & Noziska, LLP, initially joining as a law clerk during the summer following her 2L year. After successfully passing the California Bar Exam, she was sworn in as an attorney in January 2021 and officially became an associate with the firm in December of the same year.
