About Jaclyn Soroka

Jaclyn Soroka boasts a diverse and extensive membership in legal associations, including the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Susan Greenberg Family Law American Inns of Court of the Palm Beaches. Her journey in law commenced with a role as a felony Assistant Public Defender in the 11th Judicial Circuit at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. Her tenure involved the trial of over 100 cases, both jury and non-jury, encompassing capital crimes.

Before focusing on marital and family law, Soroka interned in the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida Family Court under the tutelage of the Honorable Amy Steele Donner. During her law school tenure, she served as a Florida Bar Fellow, dedicating her efforts to the National Non-Profit Organization, Lawyers for Children America, and completed her Certified Legal Internship Program with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office in the Juvenile Court Division.

Her commitment extends to various roles within the Florida Bar, serving on several committees such as the Membership Committee, Legislative Committee, Equitable Distribution Committee, Children’s Issues Committee, CLE Committee, and Sponsorship Committee. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honored with the 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida award by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2018.
