About Gordon Van Greig

Gordon Van Greig, a New Iberia, Louisiana native, completed his high school education at New Iberia Senior High before pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Following his graduation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Gordon furthered his education at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his time at Loyola Law School, Gordon was honored with the Jack LaNasa Scholarship and held a significant role as the Substance and Print Editor on the editorial board for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. Notably, he received the Legal Excellence Award for Civil Procedure, securing the highest class standing in that field. Gordon graduated within the top quarter of his class in the Common Law Division, achieving additional Certificates in International Legal Studies and in Civil Law. He obtained admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 2005.

Professionally, Gordon is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Louisiana. His expanding practice primarily involves general tort litigation, premises liability, Jones Act, State Workers Compensation, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Personal Injury, and general litigation.
