About Frank Lay

As a former prosecutor, Attorney Frank Lay utilizes his background experience to strategically and skillfully represent his clients. Mr. Lay dedicates his legal practice to providing legal representation to clients in western North Carolina who are facing serious criminal charges. Attorney Lay aggressively advocates for individuals who are accused of driving while intoxicated, traffic violations, theft, and violent crimes. He has experience handling both minor misdemeanors and serious felonies. Mr. Lay has argued cases in state and federal courts as well as the Cherokee Tribal Court.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lay has accumulated an array of credentials, some of which include being a Board-Certified Specialist in NC State Criminal Law, Graduate of the National Advocacy Center Master Trial Practice program, Graduate of the Prestigious National College for Criminal Defense, and Graduate of the National College for DWI Defense at Harvard University School of Law.
