About Victoria Washington
Attorney Victoria Washington is licensed to practice law in her home state of Mississippi. She opened her legal practice, The Washington Law Firm, PLLC, in 2018. Attorney Washington is admitted to practice law in the Northern District Court, the Southern District Court, the Mississippi Supreme Court, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She utilizes her legal qualifications in a multitude of many manners, with a specific focus on criminal defense. While maintaining her private practice, Attorney Washington also serves part-time as a public defender in the DeSoto County Circuits and as a Criminal Justice Act Panelist in the Northern District of Mississippi Federal Courts. She holds numerous certifications including a Criminal Law Certification, Juvenile Defense Certification, and a Parent Defender Certification.
In 2019, she graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College. She also holds a J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and earned her B.A. from Tougaloo College. Previously, Victoria worked a middle school English teacher.
