About Joshua R. Saliba

I have a combined JD/MBA. I formerly worked for Quality Restaurant Group (“QRG”) in Greensboro and my family and I relocated from DC for the job. I am currently working to set up a non-profit awarding scholarships to college-age students. In addition to my legal work, I perform a good deal of finance and accounting work. I am a firm believer that in order to provide great customer service, the employees must have strong and supportive leadership.

Before joining QRG, I worked for HMSHost, an airport and motorway concessions company. I was a part of the team that won Greensboro’s airport and also worked on the Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte airports as they were redeveloped. While at HMSHost, I served on the Board of Directors for their Charitable Foundation and was a member of the Retirement Planning Committee. I learned a great deal while serving in those roles.

I served on the Board of Directors and as Bookkeeper for the Asian-Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (a non-profit organization). The Board was heavily involved with the strategy and execution of the functions of the organization so I was able to contribute directly to its impact. I was also a “Big Brother” in Durham, NC for 6 years until I moved to the DC area. While in DC I helped my “Little Brother” win a competition (by writing a strong recommendation and speaking at a meeting with the decision-makers) for funds to be used in college. I strongly believe in pro bono and volunteer opportunities.

I was able to graduate with honors from my two graduate school programs (JD and MBA) and had a double concentration in Business School I was able to graduate with honors l. In college, I played basketball and was the track team captain. I now love coaching my 2 boys in a variety of sports with opposite results - from not winning any games in a season to going undefeated. I am originally from Alabama but am a huge Auburn fan.
