About Jesse Melendrez

Jesse Melendrez, a native of Southern California, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science from California State University of Long Beach. During his college years, he was an integral part of a research team focused on the relationship between short-term memory and creative thought, with their findings achieving publication.

Motivated by his passion to make a difference in deserving causes, Jesse pursued his legal education at Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey. Here, he had the privilege of learning from some of the brightest legal minds, gaining valuable insights into the importance of effective legal representation. His experiences included assisting individuals in legal clinics, addressing a range of issues from domestic violence protection to estate planning. He also developed a deep understanding of proper trial preparation and implementation through rigorous trial programs at Rutgers, internships with the OC District Attorney, and externships with Judge Hillman of the United States District Court.

While in law school, Jesse Melendrez distinguished himself by serving as the Notes Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy, an experience that further honed his research and writing skills, proving invaluable in his career. Upon earning his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law, Jesse successfully passed the California and Washington State Bar Exams. Remarkably, he completed law school at the age of 25, providing him with nearly a decade of legal experience to draw upon in serving his clients.

Over the years, Jesse has had the privilege of representing some of the largest Credit Unions in the United States, a responsibility he takes very seriously. Additionally, since 2009, he has been actively involved in representing clients in workers' compensation cases.
