I'm Tim Flaherty, an attorney specializing in criminal defense. For over two decades, I've tirelessly advocated for thousands of individuals facing a spectrum of criminal charges, from minor offenses to severe felonies.

My commitment is unwavering—I dedicate all my expertise and energy to criminal defense. Upon relocating to Florida in 2001, I served as a Public Defender until March 2004, when I established my private practice. While my tenure as a Public Defender was valuable, the overwhelming caseload limited the individual attention each case demanded.

Recognizing the need for a different approach, I resolved to create a practice that prioritizes quality over quantity. Unlike my time as a public defender, where I juggled upwards of 200 cases simultaneously, I now selectively curate my caseload to ensure each client receives the attention they deserve.

I firmly believe that time is an indispensable asset in defense work. It allows for meticulous scrutiny, fostering close collaboration between my clients and me. Accessibility is key—clients can reach out whenever needed. Thorough examination and analysis become the norm, enabling me to apply my full range of skills and innovation to champion the defense of each individual client.
