About James A. Payonk

James A. Payonk, Jr. has been practicing law for more than 30 years, concentrating in personal injury and criminal defense cases. Attorney Payonk's practice was originally located in the loop of Chicago for over 20 years; however, he relocated to Orland Park to be closer to his southwest suburban clients.

James completed his undergraduate studies through DePaul University and graduated with his law degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Attorney Payonk is a member of the Federal Trial Bar of the United States District Court. James is an ongoing member of the American Association for Justice and also the Illinois State Bar Association. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Appeals and has argued cases in the Court of Appeals in both the United States District Court and the State of Illinois.

James Payonk has argued cases in the Cook, Will, Dupage, Kane, and Lake counties and has successfully defended million-dollar settlements.
