Prior to embarking on his path as a champion for his clients' causes, Joseph obtained his undergraduate degree at Villanova University and was accepted into the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School, showcasing his commitment to public service. As he established his law firm, Joseph also served as a distinguished private attorney for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender and continued his work with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, overseeing the Philadelphia court system.
