Shari R. Gordon has dedicated over 35 years to a distinguished legal career. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, she earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 1985, where she was awarded the Gabrielli Best Brief Award. Admitted to practice in New York in 1986, Ms. Gordon is also admitted to the Eastern and Southern District Courts and the United States Supreme Court. She has served on multiple felony and misdemeanor panels and is a longstanding member of the First Judicial Department felony panel. Based out of her offices in Yorktown Heights and Mahopac, NY, Ms. Gordon focuses her practice on divorce litigation, family court matters, collaborative divorce, and mediation services. Ms. Gordon is an active leader in the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) and its Westchester chapter, where she has held numerous roles, including Vice President and committee co-chair. Her advocacy was instrumental in advancing legislative health initiatives such as the Reproductive Health Act. Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Gordon has mentored young women through the Summer Justice Academy and shared her insights as host of the WVOX radio program First Friday.
