Albert Quirantes, Esq. is a seasoned criminal defense trial attorney and the founder of Criminal DUI & Ticket Lawyers, A Law Firm. Since 1988, he has represented clients across Florida facing charges such as DUI, drug crimes, fraud, domestic violence, juvenile offenses, felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic violations.
Mr. Quirantes earned his B.B.A. from the University of Miami in 1984 and his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1987. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and several U.S. District Courts.
He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Florida Traffic Rules Committee, shaping statewide traffic court procedures—a position he has held under three separate Florida Bar presidents. He is also active in the Dade County Bar Association and previously served as Vice-Chair of its County Courts Committee.
A former Assistant Public Defender in Florida’s Eighth Judicial Circuit, Mr. Quirantes founded the Ticket Law Center, P.A. in 1990, focusing on DUI and traffic defense. He is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
