About Stephen M. Komie
Stephen M. Komie is a knowledgeable attorney that has over 40 years of experience successfully representing clients in state, federal, and international trials and appeals. As the founder and a practicing attorney of Komie and Associates, Stephen provides his clients with a dedicated and relentless defense against criminal charges. Attorney Stephen Komie and his team serve clients throughout the state of Illinois.
Over the course of his career, Stephen has been recognized with several honors and awards. Most notably, Attorney Komie served as an ambassador for the Rededication of the Magna Carta in Runnymede, England to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the documents signing. More recently, Stephen was named one of America’s Top 100 Criminal Defense Attorneys of 2019.
Stephen has always led by example throughout the course of his career. He has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 1973 and has served on the ISBA’s Board of Governors for 18 years. Attorney Komie has helped numerous clients achieve victory in both criminal and civil cases.
