About Sharon Ramage

As a seasoned attorney that has 23+ years’ experience in the areas of family law, adoption, and special education matters, Sharon Ramage is a devoted lawyer that is truly passionate about helping her clients. Sharon has been licensed to practice law since 1992 and now is the owner of a private lawfirm that has offices in Frisco, TX and McKinney, TX. Sharon’s other areas of practice include administrative complaints, appeals, ARD meetings, due process hearings, guardianships and mediation.

Before opening her private practice, Sharon served as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney (ADA) in Tarrant County, and was assigned to the Crimes Against Children Division from 1995-1997. Sharon also worked as a Special Education Hearing Officer and Mediator for the Texas Education Agency for 12 years. Throughout her years of experience in family law, Sharon has gained an understanding of different practices that can be utilized towards all of her clients.

Sharon’s education started in 1988 when she earned her B.A. in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1992 she furthered her schooling when she acquired her J.D. from the University of Baylor. With her knowledge on the law, Sharon assisted in co-authoring “All About Texas Law and Kids”, a published book by Texas Lawyer Press. In her available time, Sharon often gives lectures in regard to special education and family law topics.
