Since his time as a law student at Florida Coastal School of Law where he served as president of the school’s American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), William F. “Trey” Underwood, III has been focused on justice. For Trey, justice is not just a word, it is a vital idea in our society—doing what is right for the good of all.Trey was able to put that powerful idea into practice when the Dougherty Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s office entrusted him to handle the prosecution of felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. His tireless determination while working for the District Attorney provided Trey with valuable trial experience as lead counsel in jury trials. After leaving that position, Trey joined his late father, William F. “Bill” Underwood, Jr., at Underwood Law LLC, where he began focusing on obtaining justice for individuals.
