Masah S. SamForay is the founder of The Foray Hurst Firm and an accomplished family law attorney handling complex divorce, custody, visitation, and child support matters. A graduate of Indiana University–Bloomington with both a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts, she is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Illinois. Recognized among The National Black Lawyers – Top 100, she serves on the Illinois State Bar Association Board of Governors and has led several committees focused on diversity and family law. A co-founder and past president of the Black Bar Association of Will County, she has also held leadership roles with the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago and the Cook County Bar Association. Beyond her legal work, SamForay is deeply engaged in community service, advocating for women, children, and underserved groups, and has served as a Governor-appointed Trustee of Governors State University and as President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Chicago Southeast.
