BJ, a native of Tuscaloosa, earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of West Alabama in Livingston before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law. After starting his solo practice in 2020, he initially handled a broad range of legal matters before focusing his work on criminal defense and estate planning. He currently serves as the Public Defender for the cities of Brookwood, Centreville, and Vance, Alabama.
