For more than 25 years, I’ve dedicated my career to practicing law with integrity, care, and purpose. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa—where I served in student government—I graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
My legal journey began with a clerkship at the Iowa Court of Appeals. I then joined Bradshaw, Fowler, Proctor and Fairgrave, P.C. in Des Moines, where I became a partner and litigated a wide range of matters, with a strong emphasis on employment-related disputes.
In 2013, I shifted my focus to charitable giving and nonprofit work. As Vice President of Gift Planning Strategies for the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, I helped donors structure their philanthropic legacies. I also earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services.
Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to community service—serving on nonprofit boards, mentoring future leaders, and managing a donor-advised fund supporting causes across Iowa.
Today, as the founder of Gordon Fischer Law Firm, P.C., I unite my legal background with a passion for philanthropy. I work closely with individuals, families, nonprofits, and advisors to create meaningful impact through estate planning, charitable giving, and sound governance.
