Tychanika “Tycha” Kimbrough is the founding attorney of Kimbrough Legal, PLLC, a respected Texas-based law firm providing concierge-level representation in divorce and family law. Known for her fearless advocacy, legal insight, and compassionate counsel, Tycha helps clients navigate challenging family matters with clarity and confidence.
She also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Family Law at Baylor Law School, where she mentors future attorneys with the same integrity and purpose that define her courtroom presence. A licensed Texas attorney, Tycha approaches each case with strategic focus and a commitment to justice, ensuring clients receive thoughtful, personalized guidance.
Tycha earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School along with certificates in Criminal Law and Family Law. She graduated with High Honors from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Public Administration. Her legal training includes work with the Honorable Judge Hoffman, the Honorable Justice Alvarez, the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, and Greater Waco Legal Services. Before launching her own firm, she further developed her litigation experience at a personal injury practice.
Her leadership and legal excellence have earned her numerous accolades, including Austin Woman to Watch, Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer, and Top Attorney by Austin Monthly (2020–2024).
