Zeigler, a magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in writing and a minor in psychology in 2005. Her enduring dedication to community service began during her high school years at Liberty High School, volunteering each summer with the AmeriCorps Energy Express Program at North View Elementary School, where she supported children from underserved backgrounds. This commitment continued throughout her undergraduate summers, as she provided essential literacy instruction and mentorship, laying the foundation for her lifelong passion for advocacy and public service. After graduating from West Virginia University College of Law in 2008, Ms. Zeigler further immersed herself in public interest work, notably through participation in the Clinical Law Program and an internship with the 15th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office. Following admission to the West Virginia State Bar in 2009, she sharpened her litigation skills, serving as a public defender in Charleston’s 13th Judicial Circuit, vigorously representing both juvenile and adult clients in magistrate and circuit courts. In 2012, Ms. Zeigler returned to North Central West Virginia, joining Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC, where her practice encompasses personal injury and medical malpractice law.
