Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, completing her studies in just three and a half years. She then continued at LSU to obtain her law degree. Her legal career began at the Office of the Public Defender in Pensacola in October 1999. During her first two years, she handled 13 jury trials, achieving favorable outcomes in the majority of them. In May 2002, Nicole co-founded Ferry & Ferry, P.A., focusing her practice on family and criminal law. She has conducted 34 criminal jury trials, over 100 bench trials, and has successfully resolved numerous cases through settlements. Nicole often notes the interconnected nature of family law and criminal defense, as issues like domestic violence frequently involve both criminal charges and family law proceedings, such as divorce or restraining orders. Nicole and her husband, Chris, have been married for 18 years and have three children. They reside in Pensacola, Florida, where Nicole remains actively involved in community organizations, including the Junior League of Pensacola, the PTA at NB Cook Elementary, Impact 100, and the Pensacola Yacht Club.
