Prior to establishing his firm, Michael served as a Prosecutor in Newport News and Fauquier County, Virginia, gaining extensive courtroom experience. In Newport News, he handled nearly a thousand cases within the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, as well as appeals and certifications to Circuit Courts. In Fauquier County, his work spanned General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Courts, where he prosecuted a wide spectrum of cases ranging from minor traffic infractions to severe felonies.With a strong foundation in law and public service, Michael is licensed to practice criminal defense in both Virginia state and federal courts. He earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2006, following a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Radford University in 2001. Michael’s extensive prosecutorial background equips him with a deep understanding of the legal system, which he now uses to advocate for his clients in their most challenging times.
