Wesley’s diverse background in law and public service sets him apart as a dedicated trial attorney. A native of Georgia, he served as a police officer and detective for ten years, earning the Distinguished Student Award from the North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy. Wesley completed his undergraduate degree at Mercer University and graduated with Distinction from Georgia State University College of Law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor, managing cases involving serious injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and wrongful death. Before co-founding Starrett & Harris Law, LLC, Wesley was a partner at a Marietta-based personal injury firm, where he worked on cases related to personal injury, vehicle accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and workers’ compensation. Wesley is licensed to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His achievements include recognition by the National Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 40 Under 40 for five consecutive years and a perfect 10 Avvo rating. He has also been honored as one of the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys’ Top 10 Under 40. Wesley is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Verdict Board and chairs the West Metro Trial Lawyers Association. When not advocating for his clients, Wesley enjoys quality time with his three daughters. He is passionate about outdoor activities such as fishing, paddleboarding, and boating, making the most of Georgia’s scenic waterways.
