Amina Karic joined LaFave, Wein & Frament as an associate attorney in October 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, where she studied International Relations and Political Science and minored in French. After graduating from Albany Law School, she was admitted to practice law in New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Amina has also presented cases before the Appellate Division Third Department and the New York Court of Appeals.
Active in professional organizations, Amina belongs to the Albany County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. She is committed to helping individuals who have been injured find solutions and achieve fair outcomes in a supportive and client-centered setting.
Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amina is fluent in Bosnian and Serbo-Croatian, and she has conversational skills in French. In her free time, she enjoys visiting family in Vermont, traveling, and volunteering with programs for children and adults with developmental differences, assisting with social engagement activities.
