Greenbelt, MD Bankruptcy Law AttorneyDonald L. Bell was born on September 29, 1975, in Montgomery, Alabama. He attended Carver Senior High School in Montgomery, where he graduated with honors. Driven by a desire to serve his country, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in August 1993. During his six years of honorable service, the Marine Corps instilled in him the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, which continue to shape his approach to the practice of law. While serving, Donald pursued his education, earning an Associate of Arts degree from Campbell University in North Carolina with honors in 1996, followed by a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. Upon his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Donald began his career as a Deputy Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, where he developed a strong interest in bankruptcy law. He further pursued his legal ambitions by attending law school at the University of Maryland. During his studies, he had the opportunity to work with a leading Bankruptcy Trustee in Baltimore City for more than two years. In May 2003, Donald earned his law degree. He is admitted to practice law before the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court of Maryland, and the Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Court. Donald is also an active member of several legal associations, including the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Maryland Consumer Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and various county bar associations, including Prince George's, Howard, and Montgomery Counties, as well as the J.
