Jeff, a native of Battle Creek, Michigan, was an avid athlete throughout his high school years. He holds two bachelor's degrees from Western Michigan University, one in Psychology with a minor in Biomedical Sciences and another in Public Law, part of the university's honors Political Science program. Initially planning on medical school, Jeff shifted gears after his first degree to gain practical experience in the real world. Jeff’s journey included running his own construction company, a moment of clarity on a frigid morning atop a steep four-story roof led him to pivot towards using his intellect in more favorable conditions. He spent several more years working in residential construction and the restaurant industry before returning to academia for his second degree in Public Law. Although Jeff intended to go straight to law school after his second bachelor's degree, life intervened. He spent a few years caring for his grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer's, and navigating his own challenging divorce. These experiences deeply informed his empathetic approach to client relationships and legal practice. Jeff eventually attended Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School, focusing on Constitutional Law and Real Property, and graduated in 2015. After law school, Jeff moved from Michigan to Colorado, where he has built a successful legal practice. Outside of his professional life, Jeff enjoys golfing, traveling, hiking, and managing Odde’s Music Grill. A lifelong University of Michigan sports enthusiast and member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Jeff loves discussing U of M football whenever the opportunity arises.
