About Estefania Laurita
After earning her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University, Estefania pursued her legal education at Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate. Her time in law school was marked by active involvement in various organizations. She led the American Constitution Society (A.C.S) as its President, managed communications for the Hispanic American Law Student Association (H.A.L.S.A), represented students in the Immigration clinic, and was an active member of the Immigration Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta, a prominent law fraternity in the United States. Her advocacy in the immigration clinic notably led to a successful halt in her client's deportation process.
Estefania is also deeply committed to community service. She has contributed her time to the Adult Literacy League, teaching an 8-week Citizenship class to assist immigrants in preparing for their Naturalization interviews, and has volunteered at clinics aiding low-income individuals in applying for Temporary Protected Status and Naturalization. Her drive in the field of immigration law is deeply personal, stemming from her own status as a "DACA Recipient." This personal connection fuels her dedication to supporting and advocating for her clients, leveraging her extensive knowledge and experience to assist those navigating the complexities of immigration law.
